Who Needs Cheat Codes For Games When You Can Get Free Phones Instead

    Jan call the number and see. They do not ask you any questions about where you work or employee #. That code is all they need. It isn't fraud since you are still getting a year contract and not ripping them off.

    No. The reason why they don't ask you about your company is because of the code. They assume the code's not public and is only used by people qualified to use it. I know this kind of company discounts and there's always some kind of contract or paper about them stating that it's not allowed to use the code if you're not qualified too and that it's also not allowed to disclose the code (it's a company internal just like sales numbers or profit).

    The contract doesn't matter, it is still fraud. You're getting a cheaper contract and a bonus because you are doing as if you were someone else (=someone allowed to use the code). Just ask your lawyer ;)

    Jan I called the number used the code and then told them I was a friend of someone who used to work there. The girl didn't care and proceeded! They don't care! They just want the activation!

    I just called now, though I couldn't complete it because the lady needed a State ID and I dont have one, so I'm going to get one and then I'll get my phone.
    I told her I was a friend of someone who worked for Jetblue and she asked for the promo code and I gave it to her and the deal is you either get the new Sidekick 2008 or the Sidekick LX for free and that they would only charge my credit or debit card $1 to verify it but then give the dollar back once it's all good and that I wouldn't be paying anything until the bill came.
    So basically I need to go to the MVC and get a State ID, which I'll do on monday, and then I can get my phone

    I just tried the jetBlue code and they told me the code was no longer a family and friends plan and that you had to be an employee of jetBlue for it to work. They did ask for employee verification as well. Hope that helps some people out.

    You should try again, cause others have told me they just say my email address is xxxxxxx@jetblue.com and they accept that as employment verification

    the $1 charge doesnt seem right.

    many scammers have used that trick and end up emptying out your checking account. if you could explain that more to me i would consider calling this number

    the $1.00 thing I have never heard of, so I would be hesitant and make sure where you are calling. They did not ask me for $1.00, nor have I heard it from anyone other then the one person

    The $1 thing is a pre-authorization to make sure the card is legit, I work at blockbuster and we have to do it to every account that wants to rent a Wii, PS3, or Xbox 360 game. All it is is charging one dollar and then putting it back to make sure the card is good.
