If anyone, I really think it's these large media companies that should be chiming into Web 2.0. It's all about user-generated content and as you say, having loyal audiences who have similar customer evangelism tendencies. They have the most similarities with web 2.0 sites of any "old media" in having loyal audiences who have similar customer evangelism tendencies.
