FYI: In Belgium it is forbidden to lock mobile phones. In other words, it is forbidden by law to sell phones that only work with one carrier.

then maybe i should move to belgium then because i have never heard or seen an phone that only works with only one carrier. samsung phones work with all carriers, even blackcerry phones work with at&t AND verizon and probably some other carrier. Apple needs to know that they need to work with a variety of phone carriers other than just one. This phone is only just one and a half years old so we'll see what will happen in the future so far.
