    Sid,

Hi, I'm Jason CEO of Wesabe. Thanks for the review and sharing your thoughts. One question: what could we do to make it more powerful? I can think of many things, but part of our release strategy was to give it to people and listen to their feedback. This way we could build the product that people want instead of building the product we *imagine* people want.

We have been getting an amazing amount of feedback from our users - which is the realization of one of our goals. Seriously, we are learning one user at at time, so chime in.

    Jason,
I think the way it has turned out, no web-based product will ever be able to out-power (so to say) a traditional desktop app (think Google Spreadsheets/Excel, Google Calendar/Outlook, etc.)

The real power with web-based products obviously lies is in the social aspect -- as Google and others have been quick to realize. With the way you guys are going, I think you get it too. I can say this: keep going the way you're going and bring socialness to everything, as much as you can.

I would love to have tried out this tool, but alas, I am unable to because I'm in Australia and it doesn't seem to accept Australian bank accounts.

    Sid,

I'm sorry, but I disagree...I think we have a ton of features that we could offer to make Wesabe more compelling. Keep working with us and watch the updates we release...it is going to just keep getting better.

    Miss Wired,

Ahhh...International...our number one source of support emails. And everyone of them *very* welcome!

Please send your bank name to support@wesabe.com and we will add your bank to the list. Wesabe was never meant to be a US product, but we had no idea the rest of the world would demand the product so soon. The joke at our office: "It's called the WORLD wide web."

    Jason,

I have mailed you about my Swedish bank and a feature request... which I will post below as well in case a rev2 user knows a site that has it.

I want a site with the same features as Wesabe (having an account where you can tag the income and expenses, and to those tags set a maximum amount that you want to spend each month) but where you dont have to connect the account to a real bank account. In other words: I want to be able to create a fictitious account where I manually add all money going in and out. I also want to be able making monthly graphical reports for this account. Someone knows a site like this?
