I am using Blogger but when you talk about commenting, it is a big turnoff as users need to have a blogger account. Disqus comes to the rescue on that. You can also track your followers on Disqus as well.

I'm absolutely disgusted and avoid visiting Blogger sites because I don't have a Blogger ID. I don't like them shafting something lousy down my throat. To think they're so successful elsewhere, Blogger is a complete failure.

You can use MyBlogLog script and add it inside your blog. You can also use Disqus to see the number of followers.
